Appeals FAQ
This page answers common questions about the Gemini Servers appeal process.
What is an Appeal?
An appeal is a formal request to review a moderation decision made on your account or content. If you believe a decision was made in error, you can submit an appeal for review.
When Should I Appeal?
You should consider appealing when:
- You believe the moderation action was made in error
- You have new information that wasn't considered
- You want to understand why action was taken
- You believe the punishment doesn't fit the violation
How Do I Submit an Appeal?
You can submit an appeal through the Appeals page. Make sure to:
- Be honest and respectful in your appeal
- Provide relevant information and context
- Explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered
- Wait for a response before submitting additional appeals
What Happens After I Submit?
Our moderation team will review your appeal and respond. This process may take a few days. You'll receive a notification when a decision has been made.
For more detailed guidelines, see our Appeal Guidelines.
