1. Overview

Gemini Servers offers a self-service advertising platform that allows users to promote their content, servers, brands, and external websites. All advertisements are subject to review and approval before being displayed on the platform.

1.1 How Advertising Works

  • Create an Ad: Design your ad with a header, description, image, and destination URL
  • Submit for Review: All ads must be approved before they can run
  • Create a Placement: Choose where your ad appears, set your budget, and select targeting options
  • Pay and Launch: Complete payment through our secure checkout to activate your ad
  • Track Performance: Monitor impressions, clicks, and other metrics in your dashboard

2. Ad Content Requirements

2.1 Required Elements

All advertisements must include:

  • Ad Name: An internal reference name for your ad
  • Header Text: Up to 100 characters
  • Description Text: Up to 300 characters
  • Destination URL: A valid, working URL where users will be directed
  • Image: A clear, high-quality image that meets our specifications

2.2 Image Specifications

  • Accepted Formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP
  • Maximum File Size: 5MB
  • Orientations: Horizontal (landscape), Vertical (portrait), or Square
  • Images must be clear, not pixelated, and appropriate for all audiences

2.3 Content Standards

All ad content (text, images, and destination pages) must:

  • Be accurate and not misleading
  • Clearly represent the product, service, or content being advertised
  • Not contain spelling or grammatical errors that impair clarity
  • Be appropriate for a general audience (ages 13+)
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited in advertisements:

3.1 Illegal or Harmful Content

  • Illegal products, services, or activities
  • Drug paraphernalia or controlled substances
  • Weapons, explosives, or ammunition
  • Counterfeit or pirated goods
  • Hacking tools, cheats, or exploits
  • Services that violate terms of service of other platforms or games

3.2 Adult or Explicit Content

  • Pornography or sexually explicit material
  • Nudity or suggestive imagery
  • Adult dating or escort services
  • Sexual products or services

3.3 Deceptive or Misleading Content

  • False claims or exaggerated promises
  • Fake news or misinformation
  • Phishing or scam content
  • Misleading "download" or "play" buttons
  • Ads that mimic system notifications or error messages
  • Bait-and-switch tactics
  • Hidden fees or unclear pricing

3.4 Harmful or Offensive Content

  • Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age

  • Cryptocurrency schemes or unregistered securities

3.7 Intellectual Property Violations

  • Unauthorized use of trademarks, logos, or copyrighted material

4. Destination URL Requirements

4.1 URL Standards

  • All destination URLs must be valid and functional
  • The destination page must match the content promised in the ad
  • Landing pages must not contain prohibited content
  • URLs must not redirect through multiple domains deceptively

4.2 Landing Page Requirements

  • Must be accessible and load properly
  • Must clearly identify the advertiser or business
  • Must not auto-play audio or video
  • Must not prevent users from navigating away (no exit pop-ups that block leaving)
  • Must comply with the same content standards as the ad itself

5. Ad Placements and Targeting

5.1 Available Positions

Ads may be placed in the following positions:

  • Sidebar: Right sidebar widget area (300x250)
  • Header Banner: Below main navigation (728x90)
  • In-Content: Between content listings (468x60)
  • In-List: Between list items on main page lists
  • Footer Banner: Above footer content

5.2 Targeting Options

  • All Lists: Your ad appears across all list types (categories)
  • Specific List: Target a specific community category (e.g., Minecraft servers only)

5.3 Duration Options

  • Daily campaigns
  • Weekly campaigns
  • Monthly campaigns

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1 Pricing Model

Advertising is sold on a CPM (cost per thousand impressions) basis. Rates vary by position and are displayed when creating a placement.

6.2 Minimum Budget

The minimum budget per placement is $5.00 USD.

6.3 Payment Methods

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • We accept major credit cards and debit cards
  • Both one-time and recurring payment options are available

6.4 Billing

  • Payment is required before your ad begins running
  • For recurring placements, you will be billed automatically based on your subscription schedule
  • Failed payments may result in ad suspension

7. Refund Policy

7.1 General Policy

Advertising purchases are generally non-refundable once impressions have been delivered.

7.2 Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following cases:

  • Technical errors on our part that prevented ad delivery
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors
  • Ad rejection after payment (full refund)
  • Significant under-delivery of purchased impressions

7.3 Refund Process

To request a refund, contact us through our Contact Form with your placement details and reason for the request. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

7.4 Non-Refundable Situations

  • Ads removed for policy violations
  • Change of mind after impressions have been delivered
  • Low click-through rates or unsatisfactory performance
  • Account termination for Terms of Service violations

8. Ad Review Process

8.1 Submission

After creating your ad, you must submit it for review. Ads in "draft" status are not reviewed until submitted.

8.2 Review Timeline

Most ads are reviewed within 24-48 hours. Complex cases may take longer. We do not guarantee specific review times.

8.3 Approval

If your ad is approved, you will receive an email notification and can proceed to create a placement.

8.4 Rejection

If your ad is rejected:

  • You will receive an email with the reason for rejection
  • You may edit your ad and resubmit for review
  • Repeated policy violations may result in advertising privileges being revoked

8.5 Post-Approval Monitoring

We reserve the right to review and remove ads at any time, even after initial approval, if they are found to violate our policies or if policies are updated.

9. Ad Performance and Tracking

9.1 Available Metrics

You can track the following metrics in your dashboard:

  • Impressions: Number of times your ad was displayed
  • Unique Impressions: Number of unique viewers
  • Clicks: Number of times users clicked your ad
  • Click-Through Rate (CTR): Percentage of impressions that resulted in clicks
  • Spend: Amount spent based on delivered impressions
  • Device Breakdown: Performance by desktop, mobile, and tablet

9.2 Bot Filtering

We filter out bot traffic to ensure you only pay for legitimate impressions. Bot impressions and clicks are not counted toward your campaign metrics.

9.3 Ad Rotation

When multiple ads compete for the same position, ads are rotated using a weighted algorithm based on remaining impressions and budget. Higher-budget campaigns receive proportionally more impressions.

10. Advertiser Responsibilities

10.1 Accuracy

You are responsible for ensuring all information in your ads is accurate and up-to-date.

10.2 Compliance

You must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including:

  • Truth in advertising laws
  • Consumer protection regulations
  • Privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) for your landing pages
  • Industry-specific regulations

10.3 Permissions

You must have all necessary rights and permissions to use any content in your ads, including images, trademarks, and copyrighted material.

10.4 Destination Content

You are responsible for all content on your destination pages. Changes to destination pages that violate our policies may result in ad removal.

11. Our Rights

11.1 Approval and Rejection

We reserve the right to approve or reject any advertisement at our sole discretion, even if it does not explicitly violate a stated policy.

11.2 Removal

We may remove any advertisement at any time for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Policy violations discovered after approval
  • Changes to your destination page
  • User complaints
  • Legal requirements
  • Changes to our policies

11.3 Account Actions

Repeated or severe policy violations may result in:

  • Suspension of advertising privileges
  • Permanent ban from the advertising platform
  • Account termination
  • Forfeiture of remaining ad budget

11.4 Policy Updates

We may update this policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or via email. Continued use of the advertising platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

We do not guarantee any specific results from advertising, including impressions, clicks, conversions, or return on investment.

Gemini Servers is not responsible for advertiser content, products, or services. Advertisements do not constitute endorsement by Gemini Servers.

12.3 Technical Issues

We are not liable for technical issues, outages, or other factors that may affect ad delivery, though we will make reasonable efforts to address such issues.
