We will be migrating the domain, website, and database over to a new host. This migration will affect access to the site for an unspecified amount of time. All data will be moved from our current database to the new one and nothing is required on your end. Overall, this will provide the site with much greater capabilities.Â
Pros:Â
We control our servers.
1. The webserver will be more powerful
2. The website should load faster
3. We will be able to implement more features that are blocked on our current host.
Cons:
1. There will be a dramatic increase in overhead cost.
2. We will need to begin offering paid add-ons. (All features will continue to have free tiers, but will have paid tiers for various elements)
