A browser-based Clicker RPG where you battle creatures, level up, and collect gear to make you stronger.
BattlePals is a passion project of mine and involves a great deal of inspiration from games like Diablo, World of Warcraft, Skyrim, and other RPGs.
While being very basic in terms of graphics (it’s literally just a GUI) there are aspects that are growing in complexity. The biggest change that is being worked on is the move from a almost turn-based battle sequence to a more real-time battle where what you fight will fight back even if you don’t do anything.
Some other major features include a world boss battle where you and a virtually infinite amount of other people band together to take down the biggest of threats. There are also raid bosses where you can get together with 25 other people to survive and fight against bosses there.
The BattlePals website is being taken down until further notice.
The game is not to the point of functionality that I would like it to be, but more importantly, it isn't receiving the development it deserves.
Until I can find more time to work on my passion, I cannot financially support the hosting costs to keep it sitting barren.
This is why the website is going dark today. With hopes that it will return in the future.
